When I decided to focus on self-improvement I needed a set of guidelines to follow. Coming from a background of dysfunction, I didn’t know what I didn’t know but had already learned (the hard way) my environment can help or hinder my growth. I became the “nerd” that researches everything to ensure I’m on the right track.

I have to admit, when I saw this word of the day, “TEN”, my first thought was of the movie “10” with Bo Derek from back in the day! However, I didn’t think a blog about her would be as exciting (and most might not even know who she is!) so I decided to change direction, lol.

Hard to believe that so many don’t connect Bo Derek with “ten”, she popped into my head too.
I saw her on TV a few years ago, fully clothed and advocating for disabled veterans. So she might warrant a ten in other ways than physical.
